Deber\u00e1 evitar la exposici\u00f3n excesiva a la luz solar durante 48 horas despu\u00e9s de utilizar Profhilo\u00ae y usar un protector solar con FPS alto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Profhilo\u00ae<\/a> is the first BDDE-free (no cross-linking \/ viscosity building), stabilised injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) based injectable substance which helps to treat skin laxity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Profhilo\u00ae offers one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market. HA is responsible for hydrated and youthful skin and is drastically depleted from the skin over time. Does Profhilo\u00ae hurt?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What is Profhilo like to have done? As Profhilo<\/a> is injected just under the skin using very fine needles in pre-determined points, it is relatively painless; you may feel a short sting or scratch, but this is short-lived. Patients can opt for topical pain relief or anaesthetic before a Profhilo\u00ae treatment, but it is usually not needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The procedure is very quick, taking only about 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is there any downtime?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There is no downtime with Profhilo\u00ae<\/a>. However, it\u2019s advisable to avoid alcohol, aspirin or anti-inflammatory medication in the 24 hours prior to the treatment. Vitamin C and Vitamin E can also increase the likelihood of bruising, but it is fine to use 48 hours after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Immediately afterwards, it\u2019s important to avoid wearing make-up and strenuous exercise such as going to the gym, swimming or extreme sports and hot steam rooms and saunas for at least 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can I go in the sun after Profhilo\u00ae?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You will need to avoid excessive sunlight for 48 hours after Profhilo\u00ae and wear a high SPF sunscreen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s important to know that if you expose your skin to the sun, this will only have a detrimental effect on your skin quality and hydration. Investing in good habits such as wearing SPF and a wide-brimmed hat when going into extreme sunlight, as well as having regular treatments such as Profhilo\u00ae<\/a> will help your skin hugely, in the long-run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are there any risks or side-effects?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are no long-term side-effects with Profhilo\u00ae<\/a> as it is metabolised by the body completely. The risk of any allergic reaction is substantially reduced due to the lack of any synthetic chemicals such as BDDE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some people can experience some redness, slight bruising, tenderness and possible itching at the injection sites, but these will subside in a few hours to a day and is totally natural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
