What is Sofwave?

Sofwave uses advanced Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam (SUPERB™) technology to deliver ultrasound energy at a precise depth within the skin, helping to stimulate collagen production and support firmer, smoother and more lifted-looking skin over time.

How long is the treatment?

A Sofwave treatment can last between 30 to 90 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.

Can Sofwave be used on the body?

Yes, as well as providing fantastic results on the neck, brow and submental, Sofwave has recently gained FDA clearance for the short-term improvement of cellulite, and improving the appearance of skin laxity on the upper arms. Our patients have also seen great skin tightening results on the knees, thighs and abdomen.

How does Sofwave differ from other devices?

Sofwave is a non-invasive treatment with minimal downtime. More aggressive treatment options can cause damage to the outer layer of the skin, resulting increased downtime. Additionally, many of these treatments carry increased side effect risks including discolouration and discomfort.

What areas of the body can be treated with Sofwave?

Most patients describe Sofwave as a warm sensation within the skin as the ultrasound energy is delivered. Some areas may feel slightly more sensitive than others, however treatment is generally very manageable thanks to Sofwave’s integrated cooling system.

Treatment is quick, requires minimal downtime and most patients return straight back to normal daily activities afterwards.

When can I expect to see results?

Collagen regeneration can take up to 12 weeks and we expect to see full results up to 6-months post treatment. Many of our patients however report a noticeable improvement from as little as 2 weeks after their treatment.
