AHA & BHA are both types of hydroxy acids found in cleansers, toners, moisturisers, scrubs, masks and peels.

AHAs are water soluble made from sugary fruits:

Glycolic Acid derives from sugar cane
Mandelic Acid derives from bitter almonds
Lactic Acid derives from lactose in milk
Citric Acid derives from citrus fruits

BHA are oil soluble:

Salicylic Acid derives from the bark of willow trees & in many plant species.

Salicylic Peel

SkinMed® EnerPeel® Salicylic Acid (SA) is ideal for acne-prone skin and is used to eradicate existing spots, excess oil and inflammation. This peel can be combined with Medical Needling or Secret RF for enhanced results.

Aftercare

You must avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks after the treatment and use a broad spectrum SPF daily. Avoid sauna’s, steam rooms, swimming and the gym for up to 72 hours after treatment. Avoid using acid-based products for up to one week after treatment. Mineralmake up can be applied after having the treatment performed.
